Obituary of Shirley Hicks Shirley (Nichols) Hicks, age 68 longtime resident of Cleveland, TX, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Shirley was born on February 17, 1950, the daughter of Jack and Mary Lou Nichols. She was a 1968 graduate of Haworth High School.

Shirley worked as a cosmetologist for several years. She was an accomplished homemaker, excellent cook and known for her baking. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Nichols.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mary Lou Nichols of Shinewell, OK; a daughter, Christy Jordan; son, Dustin Hicks and wife, Tarrah; brother Larry Nichols and wife, Rita of Shinewell, OK and Nick Nichols and wife, Sandy of Readyville, TN; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the White Family Funeral Home. Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.
