Danville A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Sidney Allen McClanahan, 71, will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Hartselle City Cemetery with Bro. Mike Eaton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. McClanahan died on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born January 26, 1947 , in Morgan County to John Louis McClanahan, Sr. and Virginia Crawford McClanahan. He was employed by Alabama D.O.T., as a Scale Operator, working with the State Troopers Department, prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his Wife, Gaynell McClanahan. Four Step Children: Danae Ikard (Ricky), Donna Ikard (Michael), Dwight Ikard (Jeanette), and Dennis Ikard Two Brothers: Jack McClanahan and John L. McClanahan, Jr. (Julie) Eleven Grandchildren: Jennifer, James, Andrew, Hunter, Michael, Mikayla, Brooke, Abby, Zack, Nathan and Trevor.

Eight Great Grandchildren: Drew, Valerie, Anna, Ava, Elliana, Emma, Anistin and Hadley Step Daughter-in-law: Linda Ikard Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
