Obituary for Stancell “Stan” Jenkins Sr. Stancel “Stan” Truman Jenkins, Sr., 85, passed away October 13, 2018 due to an automobile accident. A native of Greenville County, son of the late Benjamin Dee and Myrtle Wilbanks Jenkins, he was a retired employee of Hoechst Celanese and of the Methodist faith. He was a shriner and a member of Taylors Lodge #345.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Janice Jenkins of the home; a daughter, Sandy Henderson (Ron) of Indiana; a son, Stan Jenkins, Jr. (Sue) of Florida; a grandson, John Larry Wells III (Suzanne); great-grandchildren, Lauren and Lawson Wells; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Florida and Indiana. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
