Stanley Allen Maddox, 95, went peacefully home on June 14, 2018. Stanley was born on May 4, 1923 in Birmingham, Alabama to John and Vash Ti Maddox. He married Margaret Daly on November 27, 1954 in Jasper, Alabama.

He moved to Texas in 1952 and Margaret joined him after their marriage in 1954. Stanley was a member of First Baptist Church of Friendswood since 1972. Stanley was a 1st Helper with Armco Steel Corporation and worked there for 37 years until his retirement.

He enjoyed family and gardening. Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Maddox; his parents, John and Vash Ti Maddox; brothers: James, Joseph and Robert Jack Maddox; and grandson, Glynn “Preston” Kennedy. Left to treasure his memory is his daughters: Margaret Louise Cuave and Melanie Strain; sister, Barbara Williams; grandchildren: Clinton “Alan” Denny, Glynn “Justin” Kennedy, Ashli Nicole Gregg; great grandchildren: Alexander Ross Denny and Taylor Jade Kennedy; his faithful service dog and pet, Wolf; and numerous other family members and friends.
