Obituary of Stanley Carter Stanley F. “Pete” Carter, Jr., 69, of Hannibal, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Seneca Hill Manor. He was born on September 22, 1948, in Hannibal, a son to the late Stanley and Ceceila Vodek Carter. For over 40 years, Pete was a self-employed drywall hanger in the local area, taking pride in his work.

Pete was the Vice President of the Poor Folks Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed the Oswego Speedway and other racing. Pete was predeceased by five siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann; two sons, David and Jason Carter; two brothers, Paul (Del) Carter and Leon (Sue) Carter; two sisters, Elizabeth (Roger) Wise and Brenda (Mike) Wiggins as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours or service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family, Ann Carter, 207 Durbin Road, Hannibal, New York 13074, in Pete’s memory.
