Starla Rae Lawson Waddell was born January 26th, 1963 in Louisville, KY and passed away on January 11th, 2019 at Audubon Hospital. Starla was a retired Daycare worker, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Rockfordview United Baptist Church. Starla was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby JoAnn Wright.

She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Darrell Gordon Waddell, her son, Jarrett Austin Waddell, and his wife, Kayla Kristine Waddell, loving aunts, Dorothy, Brenda and June, loving friends, Lydia, Jo, Geneva and Cathy, surrogate sons Tony, surrogate grandchildren, Haley, Gage, and a host of family and friends who mourn her passing. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and a true friend to many. Visitation will be 12-8pm Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Ratterman Keenan Southwest Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road.

Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11am on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019. Burial will be private. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
