Stella Ann Conner Thompson August 04, 1930 – May 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Stella, 88, of Alvin, Texas was born to Edward Conner and Ola Trahan Conner in Lake Arthur, Louisiana. She marred John E. Thompson in 1952 and started their family. After her husband’s retirement from the U.S. Air Force they moved to Alvin in 1971.

No matter where she lived physically, Lake Arthur, La. was home to her. Stella was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters, Clara Primeaux, Lois Stroh, Mildred Ryder; brothers, Charlie, Desiree, Clarence, Lynus, Willard, Burnis and Robert Conner; son in law, Tim Colby; grandchildren, Brad, Jr., John III, Elizabeth and Tray.

Survivors are children, Robert Thompson, Janice Colby, Brad Thompson, Tim (Dena) Thompson, Shawn Thompson (Margaret Cernoch); grandchildren, Angela Colby, Andrea (Sloane) Gallegos, Sarah Ponschock, Laura Thompson, Dalton Thompson, Kyndra and Anna Curtis, Johnathan and Claire Thompson; great grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph, Elijah, Ellie, Tessa, Evelyn, Artemis; brother, John Conner of Washington; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Thank you to Winchester Lodge for their care of Mom the last 5 1/2 months of this earthly life. Mom would say, “my greatest gift is my children and grandchildren”.

We cherish our memories with her. We love and miss you Mom. Arrangements under the direction of the Scott Family, 1421 East Hwy 6, Alvin, Texas 77511.
