Stephanie R. Orrenmaa, age 48 of Conneaut died at her residence on February 15, 2019. Stephanie was born March 26, 1970 in Conneaut the daughter of Joseph and Rebecca J. Orrenmaa. She was a 1988 graduate of Conneaut High School and began working at Brown Memorial Hospital as a dietician.

Stephanie went on to work at the Ashtabula Country Club Retirement Center as Dietary Manager of the home. During that time, Stephanie went back to college at Kent State while working to achieve a bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse. Stephanie enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with her life partner Gordy Gaugh and enjoyed going on many bike runs.

She was also an avid Nascar fan and an “88” enthusiast for Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Stephanie also enjoyed riding four-wheelers, bird watching and animals, especially her beloved dog “Sadie”. She was also a member of the Conneaut Moose Club and the American Legion. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister Christine Orrenmaa.

She is survived by her life partner Gordy Gaugh of Conneaut, a step-son Ian Gaugh, step-grandson Maylon Gaugh, Aunts and Uncles Arnold Orrenmaa of Conneaut, Merrylee and Jon Brady, Sr., of Conneaut, Jim and Robin Bryant of Conneaut, Tom and Sylvia Bryant of Arkansas, Sandy and Bill Jury of Conneaut and several nieces, nephews and cousins. At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. A memorial gathering will be planned at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in Stephanie’s memory can be made to the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004. Envelopes are also available at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, who has been entrusted with her care.
