John T. Lynch, Jr. 67, of Conneaut, passed away unexpectedly Thursday March 14, 2019 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA. He was born September 3, 1951 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of John and Margaret (Shirkman) Lynch, Sr. John served in the United States Army during Vietnam in the 193rd Lite Infantry Division before being honorable discharged. He then served in the National Guard.

He worked at ACMC as a mechanical supervisor in the 80’s and at Elkem Metals as a security guard for US Securities. John played softball in his younger years, loved to watch the Cleveland Indians with his family and garden with his wife. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Cindy (Sebetich) Lynch; children, Shawn and Scott Lynch and a granddaughter; brother, Richard Lynch; sister in law, Sandy (Dave) Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, half-sister, Sharon Mittlestadt. His humor will be missed by everyone that knew him. Calling hours will be Wednesday March 20, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.

No services will be held. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
