Stephen’s Obituary Stephen E. Skuce, 73, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Leah (Gallo) Skuce for 51 years. Born in South Kingstown, a son of the late Vernon Skuce and Celia (Holland) Gordon.

His closest late siblings included Beverly Gordon and Vernon Skuce, Jr. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Steven M. Skuce and his companion Dawn Russian of Wakefield, Tammy Buffery and her companion Brian Scuncio of Greene and Jeannie Skuce of West Warwick; grandchildren, Chandra Skuce, Breanna Buffery, James Buffery, Jake, Jillian and Julia Turner; great-grandson, Bradford; brothers, Michael and Pat Gordon and sisters, Celia Brearley, Lynn Smith, Cathy Gordon and Peggy Dubois. Stephen was an auto technician for Don Panciera Chevrolet for many years before retiring. Visiting hours will be Monday, February 4, 2019, 5-7 pm, in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield, to which all are welcome to attend. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
