Obituary of Stephen Novajosky Stephen C. Novajosky, 93 of Peckville, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Green Ridge Care Center surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Dombrosky Novajosky. They were wed on October 16, 1946, the couple was married for 72 years.

Born in Sturges, he was the son of the late Andrew and Julia Sewar Novajosky. He attended Archbald High School and received a diploma in carpentry from Johnson School of Technology. He worked for Dunmore Floor Covering and Anemostat before retirement.

He was a member or Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and its Holy Name Society in Peckville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, polka dancing, and watching his grandsons play football. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Also surviving are a daughter Carol Moreck and husband Richard, Berlin, MD, a son Stephen Novajosky and wife Sue, Peckville, a son in law, Kevin McMorran, FL; six grandchildren, Alyssa Rice and husband Nick, Ashley Fox and husband Joshua, Tristan and Courtney McMorran, and Stephen and Kyle Novajosky, two great grandsons Brycen and Maverick Rice, a sister in law Theresa Guida and husband Tom, Peckville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a daughter Beverly McMorran, sisters Agnes Kavulich and Mary Narbud, brothers Joseph Novajosky, Michael and John Estock. The funeral will be on Saturday at 10:00 am with mass of Christian burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Assumption Cemetery, Montdale. Viewing hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the James M. Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St. Peckville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
