Steve Ford, age 48, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville. A native of Anderson County, South Carolina, born July 5, 1970, he was the son of Janet Ford of Marion and the late Bill Ford. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his canine companion and friend, “Darla”.

An avid computer gamer, Steve had a special place in his heart for animals. Prior to their closing, he had worked at Domino’s Pizza in Marion; he then owned and operated PC Hospital in Morganton where he repaired computers. Known to have had a big heart, Steve is survived by, in addition to his mother, his loving wife of 11 years, Jodi Ford; one daughter, Caitlin Ford; and one sister, Sally Ford.

In keeping with Steve’s wishes, no services are planned at this time.
