Steven “ANDY” J Andersen January 31, 1952 – May 11, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Steven Jay “ANDY” Andersen, 67, of Marinette passed away Saturday May 11, 2019 surrounded by his family at home. He was born January 31, 1952 in Milwaukee to the late Dale and Delores (Venski) Andersen. He served in the US Army for eight years including tours in Vietnam.

He worked at Lloyd-Flanders from 1988-2006. On August 13, 1983 Andy married Nancy Behnke in Two Rivers, WI. He was a member of the Menominee VFW and a past president of UAW Local 413.

He enjoyed early morning walks at Red Arrow Park, aquatic exercises at the Mobility Center and was an avid Packers fan. Andy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy, two sons Robert Ebbole of Marinette and Adam (Kelly) Ebbole of Brookfield, WI; daughter Patti (Andrew) Painter of Green Bay, WI; ten grandchildren: Kristina Behnke, Ian Ebbole, Andrew Ebbole, Madison Christiansen, Jamison Wellner, Vinny Ebbole, Riley Ebbole, Bailey Ebbole, Aiden Painter, Joseph Painter; two great grandchildren Ella Behnke and Zayden Ebbole; two brothers Allen (Patti Brehler) Andersen of Lupton, MI and Walter (Marsha) Andersen of Taneytown, MD; sister Beth (Rick) Vodicka of Wisconsin Dells, WI; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Andy’s wishes no formal funeral service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at O’Ryans Pub & Grub. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Andy’s family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Hamden and his nursing staff and Unity Hospice for their compassionate care.
