STEVEN’s Obituary STEVEN B. SLOUGH CHURCHVILLE, VA Steven Boyce Slough, 62, husband of Tonia Hamric Carpenter, of 85 Two Bucks Lane, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Augusta Health. He was born August 31, 1956, in Rockbridge County, a son of Henry Boyce Slough and the late Doris Jane (Dixon) Slough. Mr. Slough was employed as Director of Packaging and Supply Division with Key Impact Sales for over 15 years.

He graduated from Elon University and also was the president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Steven was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and animals. He lived life to its fullest.

In addition to his wife and father, family members include a step-son, McKenzie Hamric of Churchville; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Deborah Slough of Georgia; a sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Brian Demers of Ohio; two nieces, Emily Jennings and Karen Slough; and two nephews, Alex Demers and Kyle Demers. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Theresa Moore and the Rev.

Olivia Haney. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019, in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Augusta Regional SPCA, P.O. Box 2014, Staunton, VA 24402, to Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, P.O.
