Steven “Hugh” Pierson, 79, died with his family by his side on April 18, 2018 after a brief illness in Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. Hugh Pierson was born on June 19, 1938 in New Castle, Indiana. He lived & worked most of his life in New Castle, Indiana as a barber.

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Izona Pierson, New Castle, IN, a brother James Pierson, New Castle, IN, and a grandson Christopher Byrd, New Castle, IN. Private services and a graveside for immediate family only are being handled by Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
