Obituary for Steven J. McFarren Steven J. McFarren, 56, of rural Mentone, Ind. passed at 3:25 pm, Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital of Ft.

Wayne, Indiana. He was born on March 28, 1962 in Wabash, Ind. to Harry V. and Estella (Compo) McFarren.

He was a welder and a fabricator for Par-Kan for many years. Steve served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 777 of Indianapolis.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching TV. Survivors and place of residence: 3 Daughters – which include Dawn and husband Justin Evans Grandchildren – Jaedalin and Matthew Mother – Estella Walker – Claypool, Ind. Brother – Terry and wife Windy McFarren – Claypool, Ind.
