Steven James Kendall, 48, of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away early Saturday morning, September 29, 2018, at home. Steve was born in Kalamazoo on March 8, 1970, the son of Ronald (Mary) Kendall, Sr., and Donna (Ronald) Griffen. Steve graduated from Lawrence High School in 1989.

He worked in the restaurant business for several years, but most recently transported people to the doctors and run errands for them. Steve loved paintball with his friends, target practice, and cooking for family. Steve is survived by his parents; a brother, Keith (Patty) Kendall, of Paw Paw, Sisters, Laura (Andy) Gniotczynski, of Wisconsin, and Connie Kendall, of California.

Also surviving him are Nephews, Jerry Waite, Ronald Kendall III, and Tristan Kendall. Nieces, Jenifer Hahn (Jason Randall), Victoria (Trevor) Stratton, Emma Kendall, and Casey Gniotczynski. Great Nephews, Trevor Stratton, Jr., Harrison Stratton, Ronald Kendall, IV.

Great Nieces, Addie Stratton, Isabel Randall, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. Steve was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald E. Kendall, Jr., Step-father, Ronald Griffen, paternal grandparents, Hazel and Harold Kendall, maternal grandparents, Geneiva Kniss and Earl Partain, and a nephew, Mathew. Steve was greatly loved and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Ave. , on Friday, October 5, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. A funeral service will be held at Adams Funeral Home.

On Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Wildey Cemetery.
