Mr. Steven Matthew Cereby, Sr., 47, of Jenkins Loop, Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 1, 2018. Mr. Cereby was born December 11, 1970 in Buck County, PA, the son of Rosemary Sieborowski Puett and the late Paul Cereby, Sr He had worked for Craftmaster Furniture and was of the Catholic faith.

He loved and enjoyed helping people. Steven was a wonderful husband, father, step-father and grandfather. He liked to go bowling and play golf.

His family was the joy of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Cereby, Sr. Including his mother, those left to cherish his memory include: his wife, Melinda A. Cereby of the home; two sons, Nick Cereby and Steven Cereby, Jr. both of PA; a step-daughter, Cheyenne Mays of Taylorsville; a step-son, Tyler Chandler of Taylorsville; two grandchildren, Kaslyn Faithe and Willow Grace; a sister, Carolyn Lasley and husband, David of Hickory; two brothers, Paul Cereby, Jr. and Charlie Eberling and wife, Marie, all of PA. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. James Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
