Funeral service for Steven Wayne Busby, age 41, of Decatur, will be Monday, January 7, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Bass officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 6, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Busby, who died Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, was born January 29, 1977, in New Orleans, LA to Gary James Busby and Charlotte McDonald Busby. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Busby; two sons, Dustin Bumpus and Ryan Bumpus, both of Decatur; three daughters, Cassidy Bumpus, Macy Hill, and Abby Hill, all of Decatur; three brothers, Roger Maples and Tony Maples,both of Hartselle, and Kevin Busby of New Orleans, LA; his mother, Charlotte Busby of Decatur; and one grandson, Luke Lorance ,of Decatur. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
