Steven’s Obituary Steven Wayne Emery, age 59, passed away from this life on January 26, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Ok. Private family services are planned.

Steven was born on April 16, 1959 in Bitburg, Germany to his parents Raymond Oliver and Phyllis Jean (Specie) Ellis. While his father was in active military service, Steven’s family traveled all over. He graduated from Clearfield High School in Clearfield, Utah.

Steven began a career in the railroad industry acting as a brakeman conductor. He married the love of his life, Karen Emery, on April 6, 2014. Karen passed away shortly after on April 22, 2014.

In his spare time, Steven enjoyed leather working, fishing, and performing handyman jobs. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather who cherished his family dearly and the moments they spent together. He was preceded in passing by his wife Karen Emery, his mother Phyllis Jean Ellis, and his brother Leeland Emery.

Steven is survived by his children Steven W. Emery, Kayla Emery, Kendra Emery, Andy Franko and Britney Gapa, his father Raymond Emery, his sister Raymondnette Trout, his nine grandchildren, his aunt LeeWanda Cooke, his aunt Dortha Hargadine, his furry child Cookie, and numerous other family members and friends.
