Susan E. Flocker, 98, of New Kensington, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, in her residence. She was born Aug.

18, 1920, in Freeport, to the late Iliaro and Rosa (Gentile) Alvino. She was wife of Domenic M. Flocker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Ava Bolcato; four brothers, Frank, James, Dominic and John Alvino; and four sisters, Nellie Tornese, Millie Triglia, Mary Dinninger and Margaret Gooch.

She was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, and one of the original members of the church’s St. Anthony Guild. At one time, she worked for the Joseph S. Finch Co., Schenley Distillery during World War ll on the bottling line.

Sue enjoyed cooking, baking, and traveling with friends. She loved her dogs and all animals, and spending time with her family, but most of all, she adored her grandson and all of her great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Domenic M. Flocker, of New Kensington; a daughter, Monica (Angelo) Bolcato, of New Kensington; grandson, Christopher (Christina) Bolcato, of Natrona Heights; three great-grandchildren, Aria, Angelo and Amadeo Bolcato; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family, please meet at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, for a funeral Mass to be celebrated at Mt. St. Peter R.C. Church, New Kensington.
