Susan’s Obituary Susan Faye Dayton, 70, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at home with her husband and daugher by her side. She was born in Alton, Illinois an only child to the late, Lester H. Mueller and Celesta M. Mueller. Sue was the owner of The Almond Garten and kept busy ushering at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

She enjoyed games, a great card game, bus trips with the girls and her video poker. She liked Nascar and Disney, movies and theater. Sue is survived by her husband of 25 years, Michael Steven Dayton of Fort Wayne; children, Jeffrey (Jennifer) True of Waterford, Michigan, JoAnn (Troy) Blount of Fort Wayne, Joshua (Sarah) Dayton of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jason (Anne) Dayton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Jessica (Marty) Aberle Dayton of Waseca, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren, Justin, Kaitlyn, Joseph, David, Zachariah, Faith, Emma, Canada, Connor, Kahlan, James, Liam, Maya and Sara; and two great grandchildren, Jamey and Silas.

Funeral Service is 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. Officiating will be Pastor Ron. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.

Preferred memorials are to A.S.P.C.A. or American Cancer Society.
