Susan Jane Leach, age 72, of Lawrence, passed away suddenly October 8, 2018 at her home. She was born January 7, 1946 in Kalamazoo to the late Harold and Marilyn (Barnes) Simmons. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, George Leach.

She is also survived by her two children, Debora (Mike) McCaw and Steven Leach, seven grandchildren, Kyle Leach, Kate, Patrick, Megan, Jim, Mary and John McCaw along with many nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Simmons July 12, 1996. Susan enjoyed spending time at the family cottage at Christie Lake, she cherished her dog Rudy and time spent with her grandchildren.

She enjoyed playing Bridge, and was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Bangor where she played the bells. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Congregational Church in Bangor.
