Obituary for Susan K. Humleker Susan “Susie” K. Humleker, 69, of Fond du Lac, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Crossroads. She was born on October 22, 1948, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Hudson and Margaret Justl Rosenthal. She was a graduate of L.P. Goodrich High School, Class of 1967.

She continued her education at U.W. Oshkosh and graduated in 1971. Susie married Jon B. Humleker on March 4, 1972 at Church of Our Saviour in Fond du Lac. Susie taught English at Campbellsport Middle and High School for 31 ½ years.

She was a charter member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Susie loved playing golf, her dog “Max”, her close friends, and the “4 Queens”, going to dinner and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Jon Humleker of Fond du Lac; her children: Jessica (Jesse) Burg of Malone, Benjamin (Stacy) Humleker of Fond du Lac and Steven Humleker of Ridgeway; four grandchildren: Sadie and Hudson Burg and Ava and Cason Humleker; her sister Barbara Rosenthal (Sal) of Lake Mills, WI; her brother Lee (Jan) Rosenthal of Topeka, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents. VISITATION: Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 901 County V, Fond du Lac. A private inurnment will take place at Rienzi Cemetery at a later date.
