Susan Kay Manning, age 56, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 7:17 P.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine March 14, 1962, a daughter of the late James W. and Beverly Anne (Barnhart) Collins. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathi Elaine Collins in 2003 and an infant brother, Phillip Scott Collins in 1958.

On May 12, 2001, she married Boyd David Manning and he survives. She is also survived by their son, David James Manning of Bellefontaine and a sister, Beth Anne Collins of Columbus, Ohio. Susan was a 1980 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and went on to graduate from college where she studied floral design.

She worked as a floral arranger for Arleen’s Florist for a number of years before going to work for Lowe’s in Bellefontaine. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Pastor Steve Merrin will officiate a memorial service at 12 noon Monday, March 4, 2019 at the First Untied Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
