Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with Ben Woods officiating. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Susan died Friday, May 10, 2019 in a Tyler hospital.

She was born on September 5, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Ralph Rudolph and Verna Pinky (Basey) McIlwain. Susan graduated from Cyfair High School in Houston, Texas and then from Cook County College with her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked as an occupational therapist for 35 years and co-owned, along with her husband, Pool Keepers of East Texas in Lindale.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Rudolph McIlwain. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Paul Putscher of Lindale, Texas; 4 children, Hope Allison Ybarra of Ft. Worth, Texas, Robert Paul Putscher, Jr. of Ft.
