Obituary for Susan Margaret Thurman BEDFORD – Susan Margaret Thurman, 65, a loving mother, Nana and friend passed away Friday, June 22, 2018, after a long term illness of heart problems with her family by her side. Susan was known as “Nana” for she had no enemies. She loved to celebrate the holidays with lots of decorations, read books and most of all travel the world with her close friend, Carol.

They would go to shows and try different cultures of food and frequent second hand stores to see what treasures they could find. Survivors: Daughter, Patricia Watt and husband, Eric; grandchildren, Daniel and Karen Smith; great-grandchildren, River and Logan; stepmom, Michalene Sorber; siblings, Diane Ulbrich, Roger Ulbrich, Robert Sorber and Steven Sorber; and most of all Nana’s best friend, her dog Buddy, a beautiful brown long haired Corgi, who will miss her dearly.
