Susan Rohde Hyatt, 86, wife of the Rev. David W. Hyatt, of Phoenixville, PA. died on Friday, October 26, 2018 at home surrounded by family.

She was born on October 23, 1932 in Watson, IL. She was the daughter of the late Jake C. and the late Maude C. (Hossman) Rohde. She worked at several jobs during her career which included an Admin Assistant position at Sun Oil Company, co-owner of Hyatt Tech and Hyatt Hobbies, as well as a church organist for many years.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Phoenixville. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 daughters: Lynn Schaefer, Phoenixville, wife of the late Harry Schaefer III, Jill Hyatt, Ridgely MD, wife of the late Richard Dalrymple, and Sarah Viscuso, Pottstown PA, wife of Nicholas Viscuso; 9 grandchildren: Kimberly, Rebecca, David, Rachel, Sarah, Adam, Nicholas, Jacob, Thomas; 2 great-grandchildren: Elizabeth and James; 2 step-grandchildren: Matthew and Jessica; 1 sister: Peg Robinson and 1 brother: Ted Rohde; she was preceded in death by her brother: Robert Rohde.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at St. Peter’s Church, 121 Church St, Phoenixville, PA. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Friends may call at the church from 10-11 AM with the service immediately following at 11 AM.
