Felix Robert “Cap” Capobianchi, 87, husband of the late Mary (Heller) Potuznik Capobianchi who passed away one week prior and the late Helen (Martin) Capobianchi, of Valley Forge, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2018 at his home. Born on June 6, 1931 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Bruno and Anna (Rienzi) Capobianchi. On May 19, 1951 Felix married Helen (Martin) Capobianchi.

Together they had 8 children. The late Robert and Marian Capobianchi and their children, Robert, Michelle, and Lori. Stephen Capobianchi and his wife Joanne and their children, Niki, Joanne, Renee, Robin, and Stephen.

Carol Boudwin and her husband Jack and their children, John Peter, Matthew, Brendon, and Jeffrey. James Capobianchi and his wife Eileen and their children, Melissa, Patrick, Allison, and Evan. Helene Mercanti, wife of Jack and their children, Christine, and Gina.

Mark Capobianchi, husband of Kelley, and their daughter Gabbey. He is also the loving great grandfather of 17 loving children. After Helen’s passing, Felix “Cap” met and married Mary (Heller) Potuznik on July 17, 1993, This union brought him 8 step children and 7 step grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren with whom he enjoyed spending the last 25 years.

Felix was a member of St, Isaac Jogue Roman Catholic Church, Wayne, and Also a longtime member of St Joseph Parish in Collingdale, Felix, aka, “Cap”, “Beans”. and “Gramps'” enjoyed his time with his sons during hunting season and cooking his famous Pasta Fagiola. Cap enjoyed beating his sons at a card game and taking their money, We all looked forward to his Tuesday night dinners with his family and listening to his stories about the good ole’ days growing up in South Philly .

He will be missed dearly by his family and many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at St. Isaac Jogue Roman Catholic Church, 50 West Walker Way, Wayne, PA on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 10:00am with Rev Stephen Moerman and Rev Eric Banecker officiating. Burial will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.

A visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 8am to 9:45am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Overbrook School for the Blind, 6333 Malvern Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19151.
