Obituary for Susan Forsythe (Anderson) Susan Ruth Anderson Forsythe, 65, a retired mortgage loan officer, widow of Mason Hart Forsythe, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at her home. She was born April 24, 1953 in Cheverly, Maryland, daughter of Ruth Trunnell Anderson, of Florida, and the late Andrew Anderson. Susan was a graduate of Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, received her Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth F. and Donnie Spencer, Lauren F. and Andrew Biddle; three grandchildren, Ellison Hart Spencer, William Montgomery “Liam” Biddle, Mason Keller Biddle; and her mother, Ruth J. Anderson. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, at First Presbyterian Church by Rev. Linda Maconochie, Kim Wornall, and Sandy Slade.

Casket bearers will be Clay Forsyth, Keith Lenox, Garrard Forsythe, Bruce Wornall, Steve Wornall, Hume Wornall, and John Graves. Honorary bearers will be Laura Starns, Mary Beth Muntz-Daff, Kim Wornall, Jessica Featherston, Margaret Anne Showalter, Treva Jones, Sandy Slade, Sarah Hager, Betty Jordan, Karen Wigglesworth, Andrea Sosby, Julie Holzhause, and Sandy Yazell. Susan’s family expresses special appreciation to all of her hospice care providers.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
