Susanna’s Obituary Susanna Jean (Smith) Mills, of Niagara Falls, passed away to be home with her Lord on Monday, May 27, 2019 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was 60. She was born in Niagara Falls, New York on February 28, 1959, the daughter of Laura Jean (Roush) Smith of Niagara Falls and the late Lawrence Smith.

She attended schools and earned her associates degree. A very spiritual lady, she was a faithful member of Bethesda Full Gospel Church. She served the church as a Deaconess; Sunday School Teacher and was a Vacation Bible School Teacher.

She especially enjoyed doing crafts with the children. She loved being a part of a book club with her mother; adored her family and grandchildren, Alexis, Brayden, Harper, Brecken and Beau Mills. Susanna was employed by the Niagara Falls Department of Education as a teaching assistant.

She worked at Niagara Street School for many years; Abbott Elementary School and Hyde Park School. She will be missed by many of her friends and colleagues. In addition to her mother, Susanna is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael Mills; two sons, Michael Mills, Jr. (Amanda) of North Tonawanda; Matthew Mills (Kristie) of Schroon Lake, NY and her daughter, Rebecca “Bec” Mills of Niagara Falls; siblings, Louann McClintock (Jeremy) of Niagara Falls; Lawrence Smith (Janie) of Lancaster, NY; Thomas Smith (Mary) of North Tonawanda; Michael Smith (Lynne) of North Tonawanda; Lisa Nearhood (William) of Niagara Falls; her five grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Linda Hadley and her brother in law, William McClintock Family will be present Sunday, June 2nd from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Funeral services Monday 11 AM in Bethesda Full Gospel Church, 6 Delaware Street, Tonawanda, NY 14150.
