Obituary for Mrs. Susie Dunn Saxon Mrs. Susie Laurel Dunn Saxon, 68, of Carlton, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at her home. A native of Elberton, she was the daughter of the late Sam Malrey and Laura Eula Dye Dunn. In addition to her parents, in 1997, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Clint Saxon.

Four brothers also preceded her in death, Malrey Dunn, Kendall Dunn, Norman Dunn and Brady Lee “Red” Dunn. Mrs. Saxon was retired from Elbert Memorial Hospital, where she had worked as a Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and she enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Larry Saxon; daughter, Teresa Saxon; son, Steven Saxon; Sister, Dorieta Webb; Grandchildren, Desirae Saxon, Destini Phelps, Jasmine Phelps, Jaycie Williams; great grandchildren, Aileah Jackson, Jaylen Jackson, Hailey Jackson and Alivia Laurel Rose Allen.
