Obituary for Susie Forbe Susie Forbe passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie Rodi Forbe and Joseph Forbe, her brothers, Harold A. Forbe, and L.J. “Skippy” Forbe, and sister-in-law, Euriel Hingle Forbe. She is survived by niece, Kathy Forbe Willett (Randy), nephews, Ricky Forbes (JoAnn), Mark Forbes (Emily), Joey and Jason Forbes, sister-in-law, Eva Forbes.

She is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews and 7 great great nieces and nephews. Susie was known as “Nanny” to many boys and girls that she loved and cared for in her home in Buras before being displaced to Pineville, LA following Hurricane Katrina. She also served as Nursery Director and as a hospitality hostess at Riverview Baptist Church in Buras for over 40 years.

Susie’s life is a beautiful picture of one who loved and served others. In 2013, she became a resident of Oak Haven Community Care Center in Center Point, LA until her death. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd.

, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11am. Interment, Our Lady of Good Harbor Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9am until 11am.
