Obituary for Mae Marie Buras McKinney Bertheaud Mae Marie Buras McKinney Bertheaud passed away peacefully on April 21, 2018 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late David E. “Pudgy” “Mac” McKinney by first marriage and the late Ralph J. Bertheaud by second marriage. Mother of Sandra Koonce-Milholland and the late Daryl E. “Mac” McKinney (Madeline).

Grandmother of Keith (Kristi), Kim (Tod), Kevin (Claire), Eddie (Daphne), Dari, Sandy (Jerry Mac) and Stacie (Rob). Great-grandmother of Clayton, Travis, Kristin, Shaynee, Haley, Devin, Drew, Erin, Megan and Jaret. Great-great-grandmother of BrieAnn, Skylar, Tyson, Kinsely, James, Dayton, Mae, Rylie and Cameron.

Sister of the late Windsor Buras, Irma Roseburrough, Irene Giroir and Merle Riddlesperger. Daughter of the late Philip and Lucy Buras. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was a native of Venice, LA, lived in Tyler, TX for 15 years and returned to the Westbank in 1956. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Gretna United Methodist Church, 1309 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA 70056. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd.

, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
