Suzanna “Sue” Marie Rambo (nee Carroll), age 76, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Arthur Rambo Sr.; children, Arthur (Sharon) Rambo Jr., John (Lisa) Rambo, Robert (Patti) Rambo, Joseph (Linda) Rambo; grandchildren, Julie (Keith) Wetsell, Matthew (Lisa) Meyer, Emma, Ian, Alexandra, Bailey, Madison, Carlie, Ryan, Grace Rambo; great-grandchildren, William, Brenna, Hallie Wetsell, Evelyn and Victoria Meyer; siblings, Jackie (Mick) Taylor, Jayne (Tom) Naughton, John (Linda) Carroll, Nancy (Tim) Kinsley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Carroll; siblings, MaryAnn Hohenwater and Peggy Carroll.

Sue was a life-long Joliet resident, a graduate of St. John’s Elementary School and Providence Catholic High School, a long-time member of St. Pat’s Catholic Church, and a proud mother of four great sons. After retiring from Pershing Elementary School in Joliet as a secretary, she went on to have a successful career as a realtor. Sue enjoyed cooking, camping, shopping, traveling with her family, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations made out to The Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated. A celebration of Suzanna’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 with chapel prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to Holy Family Catholic Church in Shorewood, IL for a funeral mass to be held at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Per the family’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
