Tawny Fenette McMillan September 05, 1955 – May 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Tawny Fenette McMillan, 63 years of age and a resident of Hoquiam, Washington passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, in Hoquiam. She was born on September 5, 1955, to Barry and Midge McMillan in Aberdeen. Tawny attended schools in Cosmopolis and Aberdeen.

Her career as a waitress spanned many years, working at many local restaurants including The Road Runner, Dillengers, Chucks Hideaway, Gamburs and the Quinault Casino. Her interests included cooking, music, collecting butterfly’s and watching football, the Hoquiam Grizzlies being her # 1 team to watch. She started a community garden in Hoquiam in which they fed the needy.

She was a people person, always putting others before herself. She truly enjoyed making others smile and helping to improve their days no matter what she may have been going through. She was truly selfless and giving of anything that she could.

She is survived by her two children, Jeremy McMillan and Dawn of Hoquiam and Jessica Pruett and Dave of Darrington; her granddaughters, Eliza Thomas of Spokane, Brittany Pruett of Darrington, Courtney Pruett of Everett, Shayla Pruett of Darrington, her grandsons, Tyson McMillan of Hoquiam, Dane McMillan of Hoquiam, Cody and Cameron Parker of Hoquiam; her sisters, Gayle McMillan Hoquiam, Willow McMillan & Neil of Hoquiam, Roben Twigg of Hoquiam, Barrie Lewis of Montesano, Lori Harper & Lenny of Arlington, Charla and George Kozak of Cosmopolis, her brothers, Sam McMillan of Moclips, Mitchel McMillan of Hoquiam; many nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Annette McMillan Aberdeen; her caregiver, Janell Fykerud; a best friend, Sherry Erickson and other relatives. She was proceeded in death by her dad, Barry McMillan; Midge and Gordon Smith, mom and stepfather; Reba McManus, sister; Paul McMillan, brother; Barrie Rassett, nephew; as well as her beloved cat, Angel. A potluck gathering for family and friends will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the Emerson Manor.
