Teresa Kay McNair was born on June 5, 1958 in Dallas, Texas. Growing up in a large extended family in Odessa, Texas, she was always surrounded by cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Family has always been an important part of her life.

She had one brother Chuck Reed. Theresa loved having a little brother to play with or as Chuck would say to “torture”. She grew up going to the lake.

She loved to water ski. Bowling was another activity she loved at an early age. Her mother, Nita taught and organized junior bowling leagues.

She graduated from Odessa High School in 1976. Teresa married Delton Weeks March 7, 1977. They had two children Michelle and Toby Weeks.

They moved from Odessa to Mineola, Texas in 1986. While living in the Mineola area Teresa worked for Quitman, Texas ISD as a school bus driver. Delton and Teresa owned and operated Pee Wee’s Pit Stop Café.

On March 15, 2013, Teresa married Kent McNair. They lived in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. Teresa loved to entertain and was an excellent cook.

Other hobbies included shopping and spending time with family and friends. Teresa is survived by her husband, Kent McNair of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. Her daughter Michelle Osborn of Winnsboro, Texas, her son Toby Weeks of Goldthwaite, Texas, her brother, Chuck Reed of Odessa, Texas, five grandchildren Caleb Knight, Shalee Knight, Kaylee Weeks, Zoie Weeks and Adisyn Osborn, one great granddaughter Sadie Knight, a son- in- law, Clyde Osborn, daughter-in -law Kris Weeks and sister-in-law Jeanene Reed.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Nita and Charlie Reed and two sets of grandparents, Maggie and Andrew Jackson and Jessie and Jack Reed. Teresa passed away Saturday morning, February 23, 2019 at her home in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. She meant so much to so many.

Teresa will live forever in our hearts. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
