Terry Kofoid, age 69, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, July 9th in his home. Terry Kofoid was born in Bottineau, ND on August 26th,1948 to Fred & Wilma (Bosch) Kofoid. He graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Willow City, ND in 1966.

He married his high school sweetheart, Teri Ann Gartner at St. Marks Catholic Church in Bottineau, ND on December 3rd, 1966. Terry worked for Trutna’s Department Store for 21 years and then managed Botno Oil for 10 years before moving to Fargo, ND, where he and his wife managed an apartment complex for 16 years. They moved to Cherokee Village, AR upon retirement where they resided for 5 years before returning to Fargo, ND to be closer to family.

Terry’s favorite past time was participating in long distance shooting competitions, hunting, and making great memories at the hunting shack in the Turtle Mountains. He loved the outdoors and loved spending time with family and friends. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Teri Ann; Son, Dick (Dee) Kofoid-Luverne, ND; Daughter, Billie Jo (Ron) Nelson-Fargo, ND; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; Siblings: Carol Barnette, Allan (Sue) Kofoid, Ed (Nancy) Kofoid, Tami (Mike) Day.

Sister’s in-law: Jonnie Kofoid, Sandy (Tom) Sjule, Lori (Mike) Monson and brother in-law Jeff (Susan) Gartner. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Ken Kofoid; brother in-law: S.H. (Barney) Barnette; father and mother in-law: Marvin and Adeline Gartner; 2 nephews and a niece. Memorial Service 2 pm Saturday, July 14, 2018, at West Funeral Home in West Fargo.

Visitation: An hour before the service.
