Terry Snelbaker, 72, of York, passed away on May 28th at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Terry was born on February 2, 1947, in York, PA to Cletus and Ruth Findley Snelbaker. Those who knew him well or just by chance felt his friendliness and charm.

Terrible Terry loved his trivia and numbers. Spending a lifetime truly enjoying all aspects of sports. He, himself was a talented athlete playing Dover High School soccer, basketball, and golf.

Snelly could also jump right into a gentleman’s game of tennis or billiards. He was an exceptional salesman at Sears and Red Line Controls. He was a veteran of Vietnam Conflict and served in the Army Secret Service.

He is survived by his son Jason Snelbaker of York; daughter Amy (Snelbaker)Burgess of Spring Grove; brother Robert Snelbaker of Hanover; sister Deb Hoffman of York; and eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Terry L.
