OBITUARY Terry Lee Vance March 12, 1946 – October 1, 2018 Terry Lee Vance, 72, was ushered into the arms of Jesus on October 1, 2018. He was born on March 12, 1946 in Freeborn, Kentucky, the son of the late Homer and Virginia Vance. Terry began playing music and singing at the age of 5 years old in the Pentecostal Church.

He was raised by his Grandparents, and sharing music and church with them was one of his greatest memories. Terry served in the United States Army in Vietnam and served two terms. He worked in the coal mines in Kentucky, and also for Pepsi, Magnavox, and most recently Parkview Hospital.

Throughout his life he had many joys, mountain climbing, fishing, camping, and hunting being a few. Other passions included photography, collecting trains, knifes, guns, flashlights and clocks. In his earlier years he raised and trained Horses in Texas.

Terry was a member of New Life Tabernacle in Kendallville, IN. Surviving are his wife of 7 years, Deborah Vance; daughter, Michelle (Gerald) Bowling-Fields; step-children, Kevin (Analicia Nunez) Imel, Ray (Missy) Dominguez, Rico Dominguez; grandchildren, Breean, Gabriella, Nico, Kevin, Isaiah, Aaliyah, Ray, Nevaeh, Erik, Lina, Christian, Analicia, Jeremiah; great-grandchildren, Callum and Devilyn; and son-in-law, Justin Ferratusco; siblings, Debbie (Hale) Tilley-Carter, Delilah Tilley, and Allen (April) Tilley; and his beloved yorkie, Bella. He was preceded in death by his children, Kathy Bowling, Norman Smith, and Sabrina Smith.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior at D.O. McComb and Sons, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2018 also at the funeral home. Entombment will take place in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice.
