Terry’s Obituary Terry Williams, age 77, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Fort Sanders Hospital, in Knoxville, TN. He was born on March 30, 1941, to the late Ray and Grace Williams. He was retired from Terry Williams Auto sales after 26 years.

He previously pastored churches in Virginia and Kentucky. He was a great witness for Christ and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. He was Chaplain of the Local Sons of American Revolution at Cumberland Gap, TN.

He was among the first group to be inducted in the Etowah High School, Etowah, TN Piledrivers Football Hall of Fame. He was a member of West Cumberland Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Williams.

He is survived by the following members of his family: His loving wife, Carolyn Williams; Son, Todd Williams; Nieces, Jennifer (Daniel) Blakeman and their sons Aidan, Logan and Evan Blakeman of Richmond, KY; Carol (Mike) Swaggerty of Knoxville, TN; Lisa Hensley, Kim Hensley and Ashley Hoskins, all of Middlesboro, KY. Sister-in-law, Shirley (Don) Welch and Brother-in-law, Jim (Barbara) Evans of Middlesboro, KY. Brothers, Jimmy R. Williams and Jerry (Ann) Williams of Etowah, TN; Rex Williams of Corbin, KY; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Duncan officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Gray, Kenneth Wilson, Mike Swaggerty, Jim Evans, Daniel Blakeman, Evan Blakeman, Aidan Blakeman, Logan Blakeman, Doyle Givens, Tom Myers and Ray Turner. Interment will be held at Green Hills Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Bill Duncan and Dr. William Boyd Bingham III officiating.
