Obituary for Thelma I. Miles Thelma I. Miles, 88, of Fairview Park, passed away after a long fight with dementia on June 13, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Donald; loving mother of Sheryl Whaley, Donald (Vickie) Miles, Kristine (Jim) Eifel and the late Sandra Buchwald; dear grandmother of Scott, Sean and Joseph and great-grandmother of Wyatt, Max and Cami; beloved sister of Florence and the late George. Thelma was involved in Fairview Park politics and was named Citizen of the Year.

She volunteered in the USO and Honor Flights to Washington D.C. Thelma was also one of the first Ambassadors to Hopkins Airport following 9/11. Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd. , North Olmsted.

A committal service will take place at 10 a.m., June 18, at Sunset Memorial Park. Please meet at the Sunset Chapel at 9:45 a.m. where procession to the cemetery will form. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the USO, www.
