Obituary for Theodore “Teddy” Robert Ware Theodore “Teddy” Robert Ware, 38, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, April 20, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born May 25, 1979 in Louisville, KY, he was the son of Diane Franz Ware and the late Charles Stephen Ware, Sr. Theodore graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University of Marietta, GA and was an electrical engineer with Food Control Engineering of Charlotte, NC. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

In 1996, while on a trip with the string orchestra from Spartanburg High School, Teddy had the privilege of meeting Mother Teresa and received a Blessing and The Miraculous Medal from her. Teddy was the 32nd and last grandchild of Josie and Lindsey Ware. He was very loyal to his family and friends that he loved so much.

He was a kind, sincere and devoted man whose smiling face brought joy to those he touched. Survivors include his mother, Diane Franz Ware of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Angie W. Clardy (Dr. Alan) of Greenville, SC; brother, Charles Stephen Ware, Jr. (Mary) of Atlanta, GA; nieces and nephews, Jack Clardy and Ruby Kate Clardy-who was his Goddaughter; Charlie Ware and Eliza Jane Ware; and many cousins. Along with his father, he was also predeceased by grandparents, Josie and Lindsey Ware, Ruby and Galen Briscoe, and Jack Franz.

A Rosary Prayer service will begin at 5:30 PM Friday, April 27, 2018 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with visitation following until 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Historic St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 161 N. Dean St., Spartanburg, SC 29302, by The Rev. David R. Whitman.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd. , Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mother Teresa Center of the Missionaries of Charity, 524 West Calle Primera, Suite #1005N, San Ysidro, CA 92173 or online at www.
