Obituary for Theresa A. Fraley Theresa A. Fraley, 70, of Kearney, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital. Memorial services will be at 10:30 am Friday, May 18, 2018 at First United Methodist Church. The Rev.

Melody Adams will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Methodist Women, the First United Methodist Praise Band or the donor’s choice.

Condolences may be shared online at www. osrfh.com. Theresa Ann Klaus was born on April 17, 1948 at Hays, KS to Walter A. and Bernice (Ruder) Klaus.

She grew up in Hays and graduated from Marian High School. She then attended Ft. Hays State.

Theresa was united in marriage to Kent Fraley on April 27, 1968 in Hays, Kansas. They made their home in Chester, Nebraska. In 1969 they moved to Kearney where she worked for the Financial Aid Office of Kearney State College.

She retired in 2003. Kent and Theresa recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. In retirement Theresa and Kent loved to travel together.

Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially taking them camping. A highlight was taking her children and grandchildren to Disney World and a family trip to Branson. Theresa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was involved in numerous activities with her children, including Cub Scouts and teaching CCD at St. James Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Christian Women’s Club and A Good Sam Camping Club. Theresa enjoyed and loved the many life long friends she has made in her life journey.

She is survived by her husband, Kent Fraley of Kearney; her sons, Lee Fraley and wife Alicia of Omaha and Kevin Fraley and wife Kristi of Grand Island; her grandchildren, Nicholas Fraley and fiancé Lauren Wehrle of Omaha, Kyler Fraley of Grand Island and Danielle Fraley of Omaha; a sister, Kayleen Schmidt and husband Ray of Catherine, KS; a brother, Alex Klaus and wife Dorothy of Hays, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
