Woonsocket – Theresa C. (Bergeron) Byron, 71, of Cass Avenue, died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Byron. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Bourassa) Bergeron, she was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mrs. Byron worked as a nurse’s aide at Woonsocket Health Center before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting and reading books. She is survived by one son, John J. Byron, Jr.; one daughter, Sherry-Ann Byron Wilbur; one sister, Yvonne Bergeron; and her granddaughter, Sophia.

She was the sister of the late Roland Bergeron, Theodore Bergeron and Jeannette Bergeron. Her funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
