She was born on March 28, 1948 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Benigno and Josefina (Pacheco) Silva. Survivors include her children, Pedro “Paul” Reyes Jr, Michelle Reyes-Vandevander, Melissa Reyes, and Matthew Reyes; siblings, Adelena Silva-Najera, Mike Silva, Ben Silva, Antonio Silva, Juan Silva, Carmen Porter, Cecelia Silva, Vincent Silva, Robert Silva, George Silva, Pedro Silva, Sylvia Aguilar, Josefine Silva, and Gerard Silva; grandchildren, Alexis June Vandevander and William Paul Vandevander.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benigno and Josefina Silva and husband, Pedro Paul Reyes. The Vigil with Rosary for Theresa Reyes will be recited at 9:15 am, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St Jude Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the Rosary by Father Tom Hoffman, Celebrant.

Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery. The Reyes family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
