Obituary for Theresa L Foster (Herman) Theresa Lynn Foster, 59, was received into God’s presence on March 5, 2018 where she’s experiencing the ultimate family reunion. She was born December 30, 1958 in Denver, CO, the daughter of George & Charlene Herman. She was the middle child of 4 other siblings – Sherry Hooper, Abilene; Jerry Herman, Thornton CO; Patty Canfield, Abilene; and Mary Beth Buchanan, Bartlesville OK.

She married Steve Foster December 1, 1979 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Abilene where she remained a member. Steve & Theresa celebrated 38 years of marriage last December. She grew up in Northglenn CO until the family moved to Chapman, KS in 1974 where she graduated in 1978 from Chapman High School.

She was a hard working individual who wore many hats from caretaker to housekeeper to receptionist. She did everything with heart and many came to rely on her generous spirit. She was a dedicated member of Impact Sports & Fitness and came to be an integral participant in the Dickinson County Cycling Group.

The dedication and love she had for her family is beyond expression. Family gatherings of all sizes were her first and true joy. She is survived by husband, Steve Foster, Abilene; parents George & Charlene Herman, Abilene; her siblings (as named above) and her daughter Theresa Foster-Meis of Salina.

She was adored by her nieces, nephews, and grand children. Funeral services for Theresa will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Abilene with Reverend Keith Less officiating. Visitation for Theresa will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to “Impact Sports & Fitness” for the purchase of new equipment and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW 3rd, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
