Theresa Rose Wade moved on to live with the Lord on Sunday April 28th at 11:03 am at Baptist Memorial in Memphis, TN after suffering from strokes in the days prior. She was 72 years old. Born Theresa Joyce Hill on July 11, 1946 in Memphis, TN, she was the daughter of Robbie Lou Taylor and Morril Amos Hill.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Eugene Wade, her daughters, Melissa Nemeth (Nicholas) & Jennifer Brunetz (Matthew), 4 grandsons Ethan, Connor, Benjamin & Samuel, a granddaughter Sadie, and 2 sisters, Nancy Hill & Betty Bayes. Theresa loved classical music, particularly stringed symphonies, and could get lost for hours in soul-soothing concerts. She adored elephants and was in awe of their wisdom and the life-long bonds that they shared within their herds.

Her greatest joy, however, was as a mother to her two lovely daughters, Melissa {Ann} Rose Nemeth and Jennifer {Jo} Rose Brunetz, for whom she would do anything. She adored her girls and always wanted to be their best friend. During the last twenty years plus, she was fortunate enough to find the most wonderful man whom she adored and who adored her.

Theresa was a free-spirited person and she loved her family and friends dearly, always wanting to be of help when she could. She was wealthy in all the ways that counted. During her time on this earth, she made lifelong friends from high school, her neighbors and work.

She was loved by so many and will be missed more than can be expressed. A celebration of her life will be held at Memphis Botanic Gardens in the Goldsmith room on Sunday June 9th from 1pm to 4pm as a come and go event.
