OBITUARY Therese V. Rekow January 21, 1933 – December 25, 2018 Therese “Terry” V. Rekow, 85, of River Vale, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Robert R. Rekow. Devoted mother of Barbara Jones and her husband Lynch, Kathy Scordato and her husband John, Carol Flach and her husband Larry, Judy Rekow and her wife Cindi Madeja, Nancy Skop and her husband Ed.

Loving grandmother of Christina, Amy, Michelle, Evan and Jason. She is predeceased by her brothers, Peter and Frank. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

She was a parishioner of St. Andrew’s R.C. Church, Westwood, NJ where she was a member of the 50 Plus Club as well as the River Vale 50 Plus Club, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Terry was a devoted mother and grandmother who was involved in both her daughters’ and grandchildrens’ activities. Terry, with her infectious smile and good nature, gave of her time freely to help others in need throughout her life.

The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Friday, December 28 from 3-7PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Therese’s life and faith will be held at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ on Saturday, December 29 at 9:30AM (all to meet at church). Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Twp.
