OBITUARY Therman EOFF September 19, 1926 – November 7, 2018 Therman F. Eoff, age 92, passed into eternal life at the Health Center at John Knox Village on November 7, 2018. He was born on September 19, 1926 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Martha Catherine (Edgeman) and Sidney R. Eoff. Therman attended public school in Weslaco, TX and graduated from Weslaco High School on May 22 ,1945.

he was drafted into the Army 2 days after graduating and served in the Occupations Forces with McArthur in the Philippines. On his return home, he and Luther Bradford started the first taxi company in Weslaco, the Valley Cab Company. They also managed a Humble Service Station on the corner of Texas Blvd.

and Business 83 in Weslaco. He later farmed land in Relampago/Progreso and Mercedes, Texas growing cotton and grain. They raised the First Bale of Cotton of the Year in Texas in early 70’s.

He later in life attended Pan American University in Edinburg. Therman was a member of the 20-30 Club in the middle 1950’s and a certified member of the Texas Master Gardeners. Therman is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Audrey Waller Eoff.

He is survived by his daughters Cindy Petch(Randy), Mary Martin (Glen), Melody Brunnemann, (Mark) and sons Mark Eoff and Michael Eoff (Teresa); also daughter Linda Bobo (Ken) (deceased). He took great pride in his 13 grand-children, Brittany, Hillary, Landon, Brendell, Jason, Jody, Heather, Preston, Allyson, Hayden, McKenzie, Connor, and Audrey Blaine. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his sister, Martha Ann Nesloney of Refugio, TX. Therman was the eighth of 14 children. Many of his nieces and nephews declared him their favorite uncle.

The family wishes to thank the caring and loving staff of the Health Center at John Knox Village where he spent 3 years under their excellent care. Therman requested his body be cremated. There will be no local service or memorial.

The family will gather later for a memorial. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren so those wishing to do so may make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. All Funeral Arrangements for Therman are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home in Weslaco, TX.
